Yaamba Alpaca Stud is situated in the Macedon Ranges, 1 hours drive from Melbourne GPO and 1 hour drive from Bendigo.

We have been in the Alpaca industry since 1999, starting with the purchase of three coloured females and a couple of wethers.

We have grown to a medium size stud, we have believed in breeding quality animals from the start. We are stongly committed to the future of the Alpaca industry. Being members of the Australian Alpaca Association and being involved at committee level of the Victorian Central Region for four years.
Vivienne was VCR sectretary for two years, educational officer and has been invloved with shows.
We have been breeding and showing Alpacas for ten years and have been extremely successful with our show results
in both animal and fleece section. Reasurring us that our genetics and breeding programe are on the correct path.
We are very passionate about Alpacas and the fleece end product, the softness and warmth of an alpaca garment is amazing.

Vivienne is an avid knitter and keen spinner so turning the best of our fleece into yarn and end product is certainly a passion of hers,
We can be found at the local farmers market( held every 3rd saturday) in Riddell's Creek, selling hand knitted products and beautiful soft raw fleece, yarn and more.

We are currently enjoying seeing the cria born, sired by our stud males, Yaamba Crusader, Yaamba Arazi, Cambridge Tecra and Yaamba Enforcer. All with impeccable bloodlines and giving us great results.
